Indo Chinese Cultural Exchange

Secular Indian Govt. demolishing Ram Sethu!
Communist Chinese Govt. building Akshardham Temple !!
============ ========= ======
DELHI , INDIA , October 6, 2007: It is one of the grandest Hindu temples in the capital and has been built with a lot of thought and precision. An architectural marvel, the Akshardham temple is the cynosure of all eyes. Soon a replica of it will be constructed, thousands of miles away in China . The first Hindu temple in communist China . The Chinese government has invited the Swaminarayan Trust that runs the Akshardham temples in Noida and in Gandhinagar, to build a similar temple. A huge piece of land has been earmarked in Fohsan state, which will not only house the temple but also an Indian cultural center. ''Initial thoughts are to have a cultural center also along with the temple, a traditional Indian music learning center and also various Indian language teaching centers including Hindi, on this temple premises,'' said Jagat Shah, Joint Secretary-General, Indo-China Trade Council.

The Swaminarayan Trust has welcomed the decision, saying there's much more to it than the religious angle. ''This decision taken by Chinese government, letting the Hindus build a temple in China is to be appreciated highly. Its not only question of spirituality but also in many other ways both the countries will benefit. ''There will also be cultural exchange between people living in these two countries and that outcome will help in spiritual and physical growth of citizens of India and China ,'' said Jasraj Maharaj, religious teacher, Swaminarayan Sect.

A core team of the trust is busy preparing the final design plan. Members of the team and the Indo-China Trade Council are expected to visit the proposed temple site soon. A team of officials from one of China 's prestigious construction companies that will execute the project is now in India to study the architecture of Swaminarayan temple. '' China is also very good at construction and specially our company actually focuses on various types of construction designs. I think this being a joint venture with Indian partner, design from India and construction from China, this temple will be the masterpiece, '' said Xiaojun Lee, Secretary of Board, Panzhihua Guanghua Group, PR China. The first Hindu temple in the land of dragons will not just be a temple but the hub of cultural exchange between India and China .

Seven Years in Tibet

As per my friend's advice, I had the opportunity to see this movie "Seven years in Tibet" and was moved very much. Its all about the graceful character of the Tibetan people who wouldn't even harm the earthworms while ploughing the field. Of course every religion says somewhere in their holy books not to harm anyone, but these holy people from the holy land have practised until they were been forced to retaliate against the chinese dictatorship. In the picture below you could find Heinrich Harrer ( The author of the book "Seven years in Tibet") with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who presented the former with ICT's Light of Truth Award in Graz, Austria, October 15, 2002. It was unfortunate for this society to miss Mr. Harrer as he passed away on January 7, 2006 in Austria when he was 93.

However though it was not my pleasure in looking through the history where the innocent Tibetans underwent a cultural genocide where more than a million Tibetans have died and more than six thousand monasteries were destroyed, I could understand that the period of non-violence has to say a good bye to the people who do not follow the ethics.

It has happened to the Indians before at the hands of the British regime, it has happened to the Tamil Eelam in Sri Lanka, it is happening to the Tamil people in Malaysia, it is happening to the people in Africa, Cuba, etc, like wise it is not only the political elements who are facing these sort of problems but also the other important and pathways to the enlightment "The Religions" are facing it. Instead of praising the purpose of the religion, each one has started its own way to dominate the others and proclaim themselves as they are the only TRUE religion. In all these cases, it was all because of the negligence of the foreigner's invasion, whether be it a nation or a religion. The visitors having enjoyed a royal treat from the host, have started to harvest the host's lands thinking or in otherwords ignoring the original ownership and are aiming at completely demolishing and rewriting the history.

But who are those who are demonstrating ( self one ) that they are the only available in this whole world. -- The people who have not known the others. Its like a frog in a well thinking that the well is alone the whole world and it is the only thing persisting in it.

When I went through the story of Tibet I also found more shocking news about a famous topic "The Lost years of Jesus", and many facts have been found from the Tibetan scriptures that Jesus possibly lived in Tibet and India where he learned about all the religions and also there was a possibility that he was practising Buddhism. As a novice, my knowledge to such topics are very much limited and I hope I would explore more and present it to my viewers.

Also it is nice to listen to few of the words during the interview with His Holiness the Dalailama, which is as follows...

The interviewer reminded him of his belief that Jesus is "a fully enlightened being" and asked, "If Jesus is fully enlightened, wouldn't he be teaching the truth about himself? Therefore, if he is teaching the truth, then he is the Son of God, and there is a God, and Jesus is the Savior. If he is fully enlightened, he should teach the truth. If he is not teaching the truth, he is not that enlightened."……..As the Dalai Lama felt the momentum of the question, he laughed more than at any other time in the interview. He obviously understood the argument, borrowed from C. S. Lewis's Mere Christianity……….

"This is a very good question," he said. "This is very, very important, very important." Even in Buddha's case, he said, a distinction must always be made between teachings that "always remain valid" and others that "we have the liberty to reject."…….He argued that the Buddha knew people were not always ready for the higher truth because it "wouldn't suit, wouldn't help." Therefore, lesser truths are sometimes taught because of the person's ignorance or condition. This is known in Buddhist dharma as the doctrine of uppayah, or skillful means. The Dalai Lama then applied this to the question about Jesus……."Jesus Christ also lived previous lives," he said. "So, you see, he reached a high state, either as a Bodhisattva, or an enlightened person, through Buddhist practice or something like that. Then, at a certain period, certain era, he appeared as a new master, and then because of circumstances, he taught certain views different from Buddhism, but he also taught the same religious values as I mentioned earlier: Be patient, tolerant, compassionate. This is, you see, the real message in order to become a better human being." He said that there was absolutely no lying involved since Jesus' motivation was to help people.[9]

In this interview, the Dalai Lama was forced to either say Jesus was a liar, lord or lunatic. While saying there was “”Absolutely no lying”, the Dalai Lama called Jesus a liar, who taught false hood, according to Buddhism. According to the Dalai Lama, Jesus was enlightened but knowing told lies, Himself being the Son of God and God being personal, both which contradict Buddhist teaching. So either Jesus lied, or was a lunatic. In the last line of the quote, the Dalai Lama basically says the lying was justified because the “motivation was to help people”. Trying to fit Jesus into Buddhist doctrines does not work, because Buddhism and Christianity are not compatible.

A Speech by Bryan Dyson (CEO of Coca Cola)

"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - work, family, health, friends and spirit and you're keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls - family, health, friends and spirit - are made of glass.

If you drop one of these; they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for Balance in your life."

For those who think they have understood, I just have 2 words: GOOD LUCK!!
For those who think they have not, I just have 2 words: DON'T WORRY!!

For those who have understood & failed to implement, I just have 2 words: OH BOY!!!

A Forwarded email with the Hope on His Wonders.

Q: What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?
A: Psalms 117

Q: What is the longest chapter in the Bible?
A: Psalms 119

Q: Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?
A: Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118
Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118

Add these numbers up and you get 1188.

Q: What is the center verse in the Bible?
A: Psalms 118:8

Q: Does this verse say something significant about God's perfect will for
our lives?

The next time someone says they would like to find God's perfect will for their lives and that they want to be in the center of His will, just send them to the center of His Word!

Psalms 118:8
"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."

Now isn't that odd how this worked out (or was God in the center of it)?

"Father bless my friend in whatever it is that you know he/she may be needing this day! And may his/her life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as he/she seeks to have a closer relationship with You. ...in Jesus Name."

Manasellaam

Why do I love you so badly
Its been long time since we met
Hardly spoke to each other
And why its still taunting me
Im trying to hate you
Still failing to cope up
Though I've touched the hand of love a time or two
But I never found its touch to be so true
Until the day that I found you
Just to hear my heartbeat next to yours
Has made my life with you
All the more worth waiting for

Only violins and their innocence
Can show you how I feel
And I hear them again
At the end of the day
I'm all teary eyed
When we kiss goodbye
There's nothing I can say
It's too precious and wonderful
To give this relationship a name
Must be a million times
I've tried to express my love
When it goes this deep
When it tastes this sweet
It's certainly not easy to define

A True Friend

Horror gripped the heart of the World War I soldier as he saw his lifelong friend fall in battle. Caught in a trench with continuous gunfire whizzing over his head, the soldier asked his lieutenant if he might go out into the "No Man's Land" between the trenches to bring his fallen comrade back. "You can go," said the Lieutenant, "but I don't think it will be worth it. Your friend is probably dead and you may throw your own life away." The Lieutenant's words didn't matter, and the soldier went anyway. Miraculously he managed to reach his friend, hoist him onto his shoulder, and bring him back to their company's trench. As the two of them tumbled in together to the bottom of the trench, the officer checked the wounded soldier, then looked kindly at his friend. "I told you it wouldn't be worth it," he said. "Your friend is dead, and you are mortally wounded." "It was worth it, though, sir," the soldier said. "How do you mean, 'worth it'?" responded the Lieutenant. "Your friend is dead!" "Yes sir," the private answered. "But it was worth it because when I got to him, he was still alive, and I had the satisfaction of hearing him say," 'Jim, I knew you'd come.'"

All these days people are bothered about their financial status, social status, future plans and there are only very little people who love their friends as same as they love their own family and more over themselves. This is just a tribute to those who love all the souls without any discrimination.

Jesus' life in India - Historical & Geographical Proofs

Holger Kersten: "It is simply of vital importance to find again the path to the sources, to the eternal and central truths of Christ's message, which has been shaken almost beyond recognition by the profane ambitions of more or less secular institutions arrogating to themselves a religious authority. This is an attempt to open a way to a new future, firmly founded in the true spiritual and religious sources of the past".

Thus begins Holger Kersten's book "Jesus Lived in India". This German book is a thorough, methodical and authoritative examination of the evidence of Christ's life beyond the Middle East before the Crucifixion and in India and elsewhere after it.

This article is a summary of Kersten's exhaustive research into Christ's travels after the Crucifixion, his arrival in India with the Mother Mary and finally his death and entombment in Kashmir. Kersten notes the many parallels of Christ's teachings with other religious and cultural traditions and suggests that at least some of these figures may have been one and the same personality. It is not possible, Kersten asserts, to disprove that Christ went to India. The current information documenting Christ's life is restricted to the gospels and the work of Church theologians. One can hardly trust these sources to be objective considering their obvious interest in maintaining the authority of their Church and its grip on the masses.

The Russian scholar, Nicolai Notovich, was the first to suggest that Christ may have gone to India. In 1887, Notovich, a Russian scholar and Orientalist, arrived in Kashmir during one of several journeys to the Orient. At the Zoji-la pass Notovich was a guest in a Buddhist monastery, where a monk told him of the bhodisattva saint called "Issa". Notovich was stunned by the remarkable parallels of Issa's teachings and martyrdom with that of Christ's life, teachings and crucifixion.

For about sixteen years, Christ travelled through Turkey, Persia, Western Europe and possibly England. He finally arrived with Mary to a place near Kashmir, where she died. After many years in Kashmir, teaching to an appreciative population, who venerated him as a great prophet, reformer and saint, he died and was buried in a tomb in Kashmir itself.

The first step in Christ's trail after the Crucifixion is found in the Persian scholar F. Mohammed's historical work "Jami-ut-tuwarik" which tells of Christ's arrival in the kingdom of Nisibis, by royal invitation. (Nisibis is today known as Nusaybin in Turkey) . This is reiterated in the Imam Abu Jafar Muhammed's "Tafsi-Ibn-i-Jamir at-tubri." Kersten found that in both Turkey and Persia there are ancient stories of a saint called "Yuz Asaf" ("Leader of the Healed"), whose behaviour, miracles and teachings are remarkably similar to that of Christ.

The many Islamic and Hindu historical works recording local history and legends of kings, noblemen and saints of the areas thought to be travelled by Jesus also give evidence of a Christ like man; the Koran, for example, refers to Christ as "Issar". Further east, the Kurdish tribes of Eastern Anatolia have several stories describing Christ's stay in Eastern Turkey after his resurrection. These traditional legends have been ignored by the theological community.

Kersten also suggests that prior to Christ's mission in the Middle East, he may have been exposed to Buddhist teachings in Egypt. After his birth in Bethlehem, his family fled to Egypt to avoid Herod's persecution. Surprisingly some scholars now acknowledge that Buddhist schools probably existed in Alexandria long before the Christian era.

More clues are drawn from the Apocrypha. These are texts said to have been written by the Apostles but which are not officially accepted by the Church. Indeed, the Church regards them as heresy since a substantial amount of the Apocrypha directly contradicts Church dogma and theology. The Apocryphal 'Acts of Thomas', for example, tell how Christ met Thomas several times after the Crucifixion. In fact they tell us how Christ sent Thomas to teach his spirituality in India. This is corroborated by evidence found in the form of stone inscriptions at Fatehpur Sikri, near the Taj Mahal, in Northern India. They include "Agrapha", which are sayings of Christ that don't exist in the mainstream Bible. Their grammatical form is most similar to that of the Apocryphal gospel of Thomas. This is but one example giving credibility to the idea that texts not recognised by the Church hold important clues about Christ's true life and his teachings.

In tracing Christ's movements to India and beyond, Kersten also discovered that many of his teachings, which have been gradually edited out of the modern Bible were originally Eastern in nature. Principles such as karma and re-incarnation, for example, were common knowledge then, and seem to have been reaffirmed by Christ. Imagine the implications that this discovery holds for Western Christianity and its churches, who have kept Christ in their doctrinal top pockets and have constrained the entire Western culture within the narrow teachings of blind faith, organised religion and original sin!

Further clues are cited from The Apocryphal Acts of Thomas, and the Gospel of Thomas which are of Syrian origin and have been dated to the 4th Century AD, or possibly earlier. They are Gnostic Scriptures and despite the evidence indicating their authenticity, they are not given credence by mainstream theologians. In these texts Thomas tells of Christ's appearance in Andrapolis, Paphlagonia (today known as in the extreme north of Anatolia) as a guest of the King of Andrappa. There he met with Thomas who had arrived separately. It is at Andrapolis that Christ entreated Thomas to go to India to begin spreading his teachings. It seems that Christ and Mary then moved along the West coast of Turkey, proof of this could be an old stopping place for travellers called the "Home of Mary", found along the ancient silk route. From here Christ could easily have entered Europe via France. He may have even travelled as far as the British Isles, for in England there is an ancient oak tree called the "Hallowed Tree" which (says local legend) was planted by Christ himself.

In his travels through Persia (today's Iran) Christ became known as Yuz Asaf (leader of the Healed). We know this because a Kashmiri historical document confirms that Isa (the Koranic name for Christ) was in fact also known as Yuz Asaf. The Jami - uf - Tamarik, Volume II, tells that Yuz Asaf visited Masslige, where he attended the grave of Shem, Noah's son. There are various other accounts such as Agha Mustafa's "Awhali Shahaii-i-paras" that tell of Yuz Asaf's travels and teachings all over Persia. It seems that Yuz Asaf blessed Afghanistan and Pakistan with his presence also. There are for example two plains in Eastern Afghanistan near Gazni and Galalabad, bearing the name of the prophet Yuz Asaf. Again in the Apocryphal Acts of Thomas, Thomas says that he and Christ attended the Court of King Gundafor of Taxila (now Pakistan), in about 47AD, and that eventually both the King and his brother accepted Christ's teachings. Kersten claims that there are more than twenty one historical documents that bear witness to the existence of Jesus in Kashmir, where he was known also as Yuz Asaf and Issa. For example the Bhavishyat Mahapurana (volume 9 verses 17-32) contains an account of Issa-Masih (Jesus the Messiah). It describes Christ's arrival in the Kashmir region of India and his encounter with King Shalivahana, who ruled the Kushan area (39-50AD), and who entertained Christ as a guest for some time.

{Christ's life in India, after the crucifixion, challenges current Church teachings at their very foundation. The theology of Saint Paul, the major influence on modern Christianity, is empty fanaticism in the light of this discovery.|

The historian Mullah Nadini (1413) also recounts a story of Yuz Asaf who was a contemporary to King Gopadatta, and confirms that he also used the name Issar, ie. Jesus. There is also much historical truth in the towns and villages of Northern India to prove that Jesus and his mother Mary spent time in the area. For instance, at the border of a small town called Mari, there is nearby a mountain called Pindi Point, upon which is an old tomb called Mai Mari da Asthan or "The final resting place of Mary". The tomb is said to be very old and local Muslims venerate it as the grave of Issa's (ie Christ's) Mother. The tomb itself is oriented East-West consistent with the Jewish tradition, despite the fact it is within a Muslim area. Assuming its antiquity, such a tomb could not be Hindu either since the Hindus contemporary to Christ cremated their dead and scattered their ashes as do Hindus today.

Following Christ's trail into Kashmir, 40km south of Srinagar, between the villages of Naugam and Nilmge is a meadow called Yuz-Marg (the meadow of Yuz Asaf, ie. Jesus). Then there is the sacred building called Aish Muqam, 60km south east of Srinagar and 12km from Bij Bihara. "Aish" says Kersten is derived from "Issa" and "Muqam" place of rest or repose. Within the Aish Muqam is a sacred relic called the 'Moses Rod' or the 'Jesus Rod', which local legend says, belonged to Moses himself. Christ is said to also have held it, perhaps to confirm his Mosaic heritage. Above the town of Srinagar is a temple known as "The Throne of Solomon", which dates back to at least 1000BC, which King Gopadatta had restored at about the same time as Christ's advent. The restoration was done by a Persian architect who personally left four inscriptions on the side steps of the temple. The third and fourth inscription read: "At this time Yuz Asaf announced his prophetic calling in Year 50 and 4" and "He is Jesus -- Prophet of the Sons of Israel"! Herein lies a powerful confirmation of Kersten's theory. Kersten suggests that Christ may have travelled to the South of India also, finally returning to Kashmir to die at the age of approximately 80 years. Christ's tomb, says Kersten, lies in Srinagar's old town in a building called Rozabal. "Rozabal" is an abbreviation of Rauza Bal, meaning "tomb of a prophet". At the entrance there is an inscription explaining that Yuz Asaf is buried along with another Moslem saint. Both have gravestones which are oriented in North-South direction, according to Moslem tradition. However, through a small opening the true burial chamber can be seen, in which there is the Sarcophagus of Yuz Asaf in East-West (Jewish) orientation!

According to Professor Hassnain, who has studied this tomb, there are carved footprints on the grave stones and when closely examined, carved images of a crucifix and a rosary. The footprints of Yuz Asaf have what appear to be scars represented on both feet, if one assumes that they are crucifixion scars, then their position is consistent with the scars shown in the Turin Shroud (left foot nailed over right). Crucifixion was not practised in Asia, so it is quite possible that they were inflicted elsewhere, such as the Middle East. The tomb is called by some as "Hazrat Issa Sahib" or "Tomb of the Lord Master Jesus". Ancient records acknowledge the existence of the tomb as long ago as 112AD. The Grand Mufti, a prominent Muslim Cleric, himself has confirmed that Hazrat Isa Sahib is indeed the tomb of Yuz Asaf!

Thus Kersten deduces that the tomb of Jesus Christ Himself is in Kashmir!

The implications of Kersten's discovery are monumental. Christ's life in India, after the crucifixion, challenges current Church teachings at their very foundation. The theology of Saint Paul, the major influence on modern Christianity, is empty fanaticism in the light of this discovery. Threatened also are the doctrines of obedience to the Church, original sin, salvation through blind faith and the non-existence of reincarnation, etc. Yet these ideas underlie the morality and ethics, (or lack of them), that govern the entire Western social structure, from the legal system to medical health care schemes. It is no wonder that the modern Churches and their secular interests refuse to consider such a proposition as Kersten's!

WILL HINDUISM SURVIVE THE PRESENT CHRISTIAN OFFENSIVE? *

Firstly, it is necessary to bring about a little bit of a historical flashback, which very few foreign correspondents (and unfortunately also Indian journalists) care to do, which would make for a more balanced view of the problem.

If ever there was persecution, it was of the Hindus at the hands of Christians, who were actually welcomed in this country, as they have been welcomed in no other place on this planet. Indeed, the first Christian community of the world, that of the Syrian Christians, was established in Kerala in the first century. They were able to live in peace and practice their religion freely, even imbibing some of the local Hindu customs, thereby breaking the Syrian Church in two.

When Vasco de Gama landed in Kerala in 1498, he was generously received by the Zamorin, the Hindu king of Calicut, who granted him the right to establish warehouses for commerce. But once again, Hindu tolerance was exploited and the Portuguese wanted more and more. In 1510, Alfonso de Albuquerque seized Goa, where he started a reign of terror, burning "heretics," crucifying Brahmins, using false theories to forcibly convert the lower castes, razing temples to build churches upon them and encouraging his soldiers to take Indian mistresses.

Indeed, the Portuguese perpetrated here some of the worst atrocities ever committed in Asia by Christianity upon another religion. Ultimately, the Portuguese had to be kicked out of India, when all other colonisers had already left.

British missionaries in India were always supporters of colonialism. They encouraged it and their whole structure was based on "the good Western civilized world being brought to the Pagans." Because, in the words of Claudius Buchanan, a chaplain attached to the East India Company, "Neither truth, nor honesty, honour, gratitude, nor charity, is to be found in the breast of a Hindoo!" What a comment about a nation that gave the world the Vedas at a time when Europeans were still grappling in their caves!

And it is in this way that the British allowed entire chunks of territories in the East, where lived tribals, whose poverty and simplicity made them easy prey to be converted to Christianity. By doing so, the Christian missionaries cut a people from their roots and tradition, made them look westwards towards a culture and a way of life which was not theirs.

And the result is there today for everyone to see: it is in these eastern states, some of which are 90 per cent Christian, that one finds the biggest drug problems (and crime) in India. It should also be said that many of the eastern separatist movements have been covertly encouraged by Christian missionaries on the ground that "tribals were there before the 'Aryan Hindus' invaded India and imposed Hinduism upon them."

The trouble is that the latest archaeological and linguistic discoveries point to the fact that there NEVER was an Aryan invasion of India --it just was an invention of the British and the missionaries to serve their purpose. Aryanism is a synonym of Vedic culture.

Secondly, Christianity has always striven on the myth of persecution, which in turn bred "martyrs" and saints, indispensable to the propagation of Christianity. But it is little known, for instance, that the first "saints" of Christianity, "martyred" in Rome, a highly refined civilization which had evolved a remarkable system of gods and goddesses, derived from Hindu mythology via the Greeks, were actually killed (a normal practice in those days) while bullying peaceful Romans to embrace the "true" religion, in the same way that later Christian missionaries will browbeat "heathen" Hindus, adoring many gods into believing that Jesus was the only "true" god.

Now to come to the recent cases of persecution of Christians in India at the hands of Hindu groups. One of my friend has personally investigated quite a few, amongst them the rape of the four nuns in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, nearly two years ago. This rape is still quoted as an example of the "atrocities" committed by Hindus on Christians.

Yet, when he interviewed the four innocent nuns, they themselves admitted, along with George Anatil, the bishop of Indore, that it had nothing to do with religion: It was the doing of a gang of Bhil tribals, known to perpetrate this kind of hateful acts on their own women. Today, the Indian press, the Christian hierarchy and the politicians, continue to include the Jhabua rape in the list of atrocities against Christians.

Or take the burning of churches in Andhra Pradesh a few months ago, which was supposed to have been committed by the "fanatic" RSS. It was proved later that it was actually the handiwork of Indian Muslims, at the behest of the ISI to foment hatred between Christians and Hindus. Yet the Indian press, which went berserk at the time of the burnings, mostly kept quiet when the true nature of the perpetrators was revealed.

Finally, even if Dara Singh does belong to the Bajrang Dal, it is doubtful if the hundred other accused do. What is more probable, is that like in many other "backward" places, it is a case of converted tribals versus non-converted tribals, of pent-up jealousies, of old village-feuds and land disputes. It is also an outcome of what -- it should be said -- are the aggressive methods of the Pentecost and Seventh Day Adventist missionaries, known for their muscular ways of conversion.

Thirdly, conversions in India by Christian missionaries of low caste Hindus and tribals are sometimes nothing short of fraudulent and shameful acts. American missionaries are investing huge amounts of money in India, which come from donation-drives in the United States where gullible Americans think the dollars they are giving go towards uplifting "poor and uneducated" Indians.

It is common in Kerala, for instance, particularly in the poor coastal districts, to have "miracle boxes" put in local churches. The gullible villager writes out a paper mentioning his wish such as a fishing boat, a loan for a pucca house, fees for the son's schooling. And lo, a few weeks later the miracle happens! And of course the whole family converts, making others in the village follow suit.

American missionaries (and their government) would like us to believe that democracy includes the freedom to convert by any means. But France for example, a traditionally Christian country, has a minister who is in charge of hunting down "sects." And by sects, it is meant anything that does not fall within the recognized family of Christianity -- even the Church of Scientology, favoured by some Hollywood stars such as Tom Cruise or John Travolta, is ruthlessly hounded. And look at what the Americans did to the Osho movement in Arizona, or how innocent children and women were burnt down by the FBI (with the assistance of the US army) at Waco, Texas, because they belonged to a dangerous sect.

Did you know that Christianity is dying in the West? Not only is church attendance falling dramatically because spirituality has deserted it, but less and less youth accept the vocation to become priests or nuns. And as a result, say in the rural parts of France, you will find only one priest for six or seven villages, whereas till the late seventies, the smallest hamlet had its own parish priest.

And where is Christianity finding new priests today? In the Third World, of course! And India, because of the innate impulsion of its people towards god, is a very fertile recruiting ground for the Church, particularly in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Hence the huge attention that India is getting from the United States, Australia, or England and the massive conversion drive going on today.

It is sad that Indians, once converted, specially the priests and nuns, tend to turn against their own country and help in the conversion drive. There are very few "White" missionaries left in India and most of the conversions are done today by Indian priests.

Last month, during the bishop's conference in Bangalore, it was restated by bishops and priests from all over India that conversion is the FIRST priority of the Church here. But are the priests and bishops aware that they would never find in any Western country the same freedom to convert that they take for granted in India? Do they know that in China they would be expelled, if not put into jail? Do they realize that they have been honoured guests in this country for nearly two thousand years and that they are betraying those that gave them peace and freedom?

Hinduism, the religion of tolerance, and spirituality of this new millennium, has survived the unspeakable barbarism of wave after wave of Muslim invasions, the insidious onslaught of Western colonialism which has killed the spirit of so many Third World countries, and the soul-stifling assault of Nehruvianism. But will it survive the present Christian offensive?

Many Hindu religious leaders feel Christianity is a real threat today, as in numerous ways it is similar to Hinduism, from which Christ borrowed so many concepts. (See Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's book: "Hinduism and Christianity")

It is thus necessary that Indians themselves become more aware of the danger their culture and unique civilization is facing at the hands of missionaries sponsored by foreign money. It is also necessary that they stop listening to the Marxist-influenced English newspapers' defense of the right of Christian missionaries to convert innocent Hindus.

Conversion belongs to the times of colonialism. We have entered the era of Unity, of coming together, of tolerance and accepting each other as we are, not of converting in the name of one elusive "true" god.

When Christianity accepts the right of other people to follow their own beliefs and creeds, then only will Jesus Christ's spirit truly radiate in the world.

Money playing the spoilsport

Here is a video in three parts of the evils that Christian conversion tactics cause. It splits up families, villages, creates much turmoil between communities, disrupts the educational process for those who do not convert for students in Christian schools, and much more. It appears, quite honestly, that Christians would prefer to see the complete demise of Vedic culture altogether, and preach that Hindus are evil, Hindu Gods are evil and violent, and to prove one's conversion to Christianity, they force new converts to step on and tear up pictures of the Vedic Gods and Goddesses.

So please take a look at this video of Christian conversion tactics used in the Dang area of Gujarat. These are similar to the same tactics used in many other places around India. Then spread this link and information to your friends. As many people as possible should be aware of what is going on under the guise of Christian conversion.

Madness

There were songs sung for you
There were complaints against all others
There were stories portraying our love
Finally there were our words
Inscribed in the pages of the history
Yet forgotten but not its memories
Which are after your divergence from my life
Life is not the same since the day you left
Those flowers which were brought for you
Lie on the ground crushed and dead
Those bonds which we had together
All are gone now by the wind
The mirror which we looked at together
Is now shattered down to pieces
All I could see now is just you
No matter where I am and what I am
Your presence uproots me with its essence
In this materialistic world,
All of us are the victims of memories
A bit of sadness, a bit of madness
Added together with a bit of success and joy
Which are from us and at times we are from them
Life has become a cycle of feelings
With loads of ups and downs
One has to just pass through it
Yielding not to one's temptations.

Your presence and its essence

The Sun was not shining behind my head
The moon was not decorated upon my palm
Neither had any relationships with the stars
Nor did I make any accusation to God
All these days I have hidden every sorrow
With a smiling heart I have taken on every pain
Embracing the thorns of the life
Taking the wounds from its flowers like you
Have always shed tears for you when you were away
What did not I do for you my angel
Apart from pleading and praying the God
And if I'm to pray one day
All I would ask for, would be just one thing
And it will be your happiness for ever

An old e-mail from my friend

Dated : 27/11/2002

"hey, this is something which touched my heart.I don't know why. probably it's something related to my life. if it's true, then that is only b'coz of u. yes , u idiot ,it's only b'coz of u.

I feel like, i had missed something in my college life...

read this.....

10 th Grade...

As I sat there in English class,
I stared at the girl next to me
She was my so called 'best friend '
I stared at her long, silky hair,
and wished she was mine
But she didn't notice me like that,
and I knew it...
After class, she walked up to me and
asked me for the notes
she had missed the day before
I handed them to her
She said 'thanks' and left...
I want to tell her, I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why...

11th Grade...

The phone rang...On the other end,
it was her...She was in tears,
mumbling on and on about how her
love had broke her heart
She asked me to come over because
she didn't want to be alone, So I did
As I sat next to her on the sofa,
I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine
After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie,
and three bags of chips, she decided to go home
She looked at me, said 'thanks' and left...
I want to tell her, I want her to know that
I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why...

Senior year...

One fine day she walked to my locker
"My date is sick" she said, "hes not gonna go well",
I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade,
we made a promise that if neither of us had dates,
we would go together just as 'best friends'
So we did...That night, after everything was over,
I was standing at her front door step
I stared at her as She smiled at me
and stared at me with her crystal eyes
Then she said- "I had the best time, thanks!" and left...
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why...

Graduation...

A day passed, then a week, then a month
Before I could blink, it was graduation day
I watched as her perfect body floated like an angel
up on stage to get her diploma
I wanted her to be mine-but
she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it
Before everyone went home,
she came to me in her smock and hat,
and cried as I hugged her
Then she lifted her head from my shoulder
and said- 'you're my best friend, thanks' and left...

I want to tell her, I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why...

Marriage...

Now I sit in the pews of the church
That girl is getting married now
and drive off to her new life,
married to another man
I wanted her to be mine,
but she didn't see me like that,
and I knew it...
But before she drove away,
she came to me and said 'you came! '
She said 'thanks' and left...
I want her to know that
I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why...

Death...

Years passed, I looked down at the coffin
of a girl who used to be my 'best friend'.
At the service, they read a diary entry
she had wrote in her high school years
This is what it read:
"I stare at him wishing he was mine;
but he doesn't notice me like that,
and I know it. I want to tell him,
I want him to know that
I don't want to be just friends,
I love him but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why...
I wish he would tell me he loved me ! "
...'I wish I did too'...
I thought to my self, and I cried....."

Do yourself a favour, tell her/him you love them...

They won't be there...................Forever

Nature doesn't give anyone more than one golden opportunity in a love life and when u feel it, grab it. It might be not the one which you thought or felt, but at least you won't have to regret for what you have done in the past.

Kal ho na ho....

Motivation - Its always after a feminine subject

Be the lady you love when you are young
Be the Country you are proud of
Be the affection you have for the family
Its all feminine in nature
But leads you to reach the glory
Behind every man's success
There have been always a woman
And it need not be a girl every time
But her form would do the needful
Though the love for the girl is lost
The love you had for her will be live for sure
And take you to the heights
Where you would get a better one
Just to let you know that
Theres nothing like the Only love
As in the story of life
There are many aspects of love
But unfortunately all a man could see is
Just one which will fade out soon
Theres more meaning in life to be explored
And only such bad experiences would take you high
Lets not deny the failures of life
And greet it with our deepest regards

Friends for ever

In kindergarten your idea of a good friend was the person who:

* let you have the red crayon when all that was left was the ugly black one.

In primary school your idea of a good friend was the person who:

* went to the bathroom with you;
* held your hand as you walked through the scary halls;
* helped you stand up to the class bully;
* shared their lunch with you when you forgot yours on the bus;
* saved a seat on the back of the bus for you;
* knew who you had a crush on and never understood why

In secondary school your idea of a good friend was the person who:

* let you copy the social studies homework;
* went to that "cool" party with you so you wouldn't wind up being the only freshie there;
* did not let you lunch alone

In pre-university your idea of a good friend was the person who:

* gave you rides in their new car;
* convinced your parents that you shouldn't be grounded;
* consoled you when you broke up with Nick or Susan;
* helped you pick a university and assured you that you would get into that university;
* helped you deal with your parents who were having a hard time letting you go

On the threshold of adulthood your idea of a good friend was the person who:

* was there when you just couldn't deal with your parents;
* assured you that now that you and Nick or you and Susan were back together and you'll could make it through anything;
* just silently hugged you as you looked through blurry eyes at 18 years of memories;
* and reassured you that you would make it in university as well as you had these past 18 years; * and most importantly sent you off to university knowing you were loved

Now, your idea of a good friend is still the person who:

* gives you the better of the two choices,
* hold your hand when you're scared,
* helps you fight off those who try to take advantage of you,
* thinks of you at times when you are not there,
* reminds you of what you have forgotten,
* helps you put the past behind you but understands when you need to
* hold on to it a little longer,
* stays with you so that you have confidence,
* goes out of their way to make time for you,
* helps you clear up your mistakes,
* helps you deal with pressure from others,
* smiles for you when they are sad,
* helps you become a better person, and most importantly loves you!

No matter where we go or who we become, never forget who helped us get there. There's never a wrong time to pick up a phone or send a message telling your friends how much you miss them or how much you love them.

I hope that i have a lot of good friends who may not be with me now, but would always be on my side when i feel like.

missing you all very much.......

"In the long run, we shape our lives and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die, and the choices that we make are ultimately our responsibility."

Life Education

Love life has always been a fantastic experience
Not all have succeeded in reaching the destination
Few would have not even challenged to swim across
A few would have drowned while they were half way through
Very little would have succumbed to pressure
Overlooking their natural capabilities to win
Out of all, those who think that this is the only thing in life
Would soon realise, its not worth fighting against all odds
Life always has definite answers for all problems
Its one's attitude which drives him away from the solution
Though its not easy to enjoy the failures
One must at least appreciate and respect for its occurrence
As such failures add more values to our very little victories

Different perspectives

It was cloudy day and the train has started moving. It is packed with people of all ages, mostly with the working men and women and young college guys and gals.

Near the window, seated a old man with his 30 year old son. As the train moves by, the son is overwhelmed with joy as he was thrilled with the scenery outside...

"See dad, the scenery of green trees moving away is very beautiful"

This behavior from a thirty year old son made the other people feel strange about him. Every one started murmuring something or other about this son. "This guy seems to be a krack..." newly married Anup whispered to his wife.

Suddenly it started raining... Rain drops fell on the travelers through the opened window. The Thirty year old son, filled with joy" see dad, how beautiful the rain is ..."

Anup's wife got irritated with the rain drops spoiling her new suit.

Anup ," cant you see its raining, you old man, if ur son is not feeling well get him soon to a mental asylum. and don't disturb public henceforth"

The old man hesitated first and then in a low tone replied "we are on the way back from hospital, my son got discharged today morning, and he was a blind by birth, last week only he got his vision, these rain and nature are new to his eyes.. Please forgive us for the inconvenience caused..."

The things we see may be or might not be right from our perspective....!

Benny Hinn: A Massive Fraud & A Crook

Its shocking to know about his actions rather than his words, though he revolves around the self proclaimed divine monarchy. In the name of God there are several other people like him filling up their bank accounts deceiving the world.

When are these people gonna stop doing such a thing ? Of course not, until their death and its for sure that their succesors will take over from them where they have left and depending on their skill level they might take off or land taking their content level to the consideration.

Hatred towards its own citizens

Let it be the other countries or its own country, the tamizh speaking citizens are always ill treated humiliated and denied their basic needs. The money gave away by them are burgled and at the same time when it comes to sacrifice, its the same people.

Shocking information are spread now a days as the media is becoming very powerful than before and there are different deviations available now a days for the people to focus off from the prevailing situation. Cricket tournaments, Beauty contests, Films but who is bothered about the truth.

Be whether its SriLanka or Malaysia, the tamizh native people are being tortured, taken away their rights and adding to the insult its own country India is not doing anything much different from other nations. When it comes to kargil war, Tamil Nadu has given more financial support than any other state, but while asking for the agreed water from karnataka its yet to make a firm decision. Also a similar story prevails with the water issue from kerala and many more like the illegal land occupation by the keralates in the region which comes under the Tamil Nadu government.

Now who is to blame ? LTTE for the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi... How funny, whats gonna be their motive ? If they could do that, they could have done many more, but its high time to think who might be, behind the scenes.

India have always considered that the triangular mountain located in srilanka would be the best route to attack India by any nation which has the permission to have their base in it, therefore instead of pleading to the srilankan government's request like before ( where they agreed to smuggle the tamizh native settlers overseas just because pakistan was trying to attain the base there during the indo pak war and india was offered the benefit by the above agreement) the government prefer not to intervene between LTTE and the Srilankan government. Unless the commission is ready to disclose the white report to the public, the CIA might as well be blamed. As it has been always the CIA's hand in any of the previous assassinations of the great leaders, where the American government never liked the Rajiv led government in India.

At the end of the day, who is bothered about all these things, where there are lots of amusements being available around the world to enjoy and making more money out of it. No matter whatever the issue it might be, its based on money, whether its religion, sport or politics.

Is He Greedy or Is She Jealous ?

Whether its He who is greedy to have more girls
Or its her who is jealous of the chap
Its all natural and straight from their hearts
Without the intention to hurt anyone
They are just trying to be what they are
But somehow someone is hurt always
And they can't put the blame on others
Where its all themselves to take the responsibilities
People enjoy by seeing such a scene
Just because they are kids making it a graceful one
But no matter what age you are
Its still the same feeling in your heart
Intending to be with someone whom you want to
Sometimes lucky but most of the time unlucky
We must try to appreciate one's feelings
Instead of cursing for their actions
After all this world is not under anyone's foot

No food but Money !

MP madrassas boycott Iskcon's mid-day meals

"The Indian government is giving money collected in temples to Madarsas,Mosques and Churches. Why are the Muslims not refusing Hindu Temple money also?"- Editor

August 18, 2007

Bhopal: Madrassas in Ujjain have boycotted the Madhya Pradesh government's mid-day meal scheme for students on the ground that the food is being prepared by Iskcon, the Hindu religious organisation spreading Krishna consciousness throughout the world.

The madrassas in Ujjain, 200 km from Bhopal, have demanded that raw materials for food, and funds be given directly to them so that they can prepare mid-day meals for students. Muslim clerics argued that food prepared by Iskcon is first offered to Lord Jagannath as 'bhog' (offering) before being distributed among the students. "We can't accept this as it hurts our religious sentiments," Ujjain Qazi Khaleeq-ur-Rahman told TOI .

"Minister of state for education Paras Jain came here and lectured us that we needed to change our mentality. We want to specify that the matter is far above mentality. It is our faith. How can our students eat a meal which has been served to a Hindu god?"

Iskcon, however, denied that the food prepared for madrassa students is offered to Lord Jagannath. Iskcon's spokesman in Ujjain Raghav Das said, "According to our understanding with the Ujjain Municipal Corporation, we supply prepared food to 22,000 students in town. We make 66,000 'chapatis', 140 kg of vegetables (curry) and 45 kg of lentils (dal) per day. We then take just one 'thali' from the kitchen to the temple of Lord Jagannath. The rest of the food is not taken to the temple. It is transported from our kitchens to the schools."

Iskcon has been preparing midday meals for schools in urban areas since July. "We constructed a kitchen large enough to prepare the mid-day meals for more than 20,000 students. Keeping hygienic conditions in mind, we even got automatic roti makers which prepare 10,000 rotis per hour. We are not in this for profit."
